The Jamaica Track and Field Coaches Association on Saturday November 22, 2025 presented awards to coaches for Long and Distinguished service to the sport. This took place at Alhambra Inn Hotel in Kingston at a function attended by Olivia Grange OJ, CD, MP the Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, Garth Gayle the President of the JAAA and other distinguished guests. Donald Hawthorne Among 15 Track & Field Coaches To Be Honored for Long & Distinguished Service
The Jamaica Track & Field Coaches Association joins with other national and international sporting bodies in recognizing October 6th each year as National Coaches Day. Awards will be presented to Track and Field Coaches for long and distinguished service to the nation on the heels of a very successful 2025 Athletics season at both the Junior and Senior levels.
